Day Twenty - Los Angeles to San Diego
Breakfast was yet again at Starbucks before hitting the i5 to San Diego. We came off at Oceanside in order to drive the coastal road and passed Haggo's Taco's (which was recommended by our waiter at the Polo Lounge) but it was closed by the time we got there because they had sold out. It really is that popular!

We looked for something else on the way but set our hearts on another trip to IHOP so after arriving at the EZ Motel built under the freeway we got directions and settled in to cinnamon French toast and free coffee refills. We spent the evening hanging out by the pool and planning our next day in San Diego.

Day Twenty One - San Diego
We ate breakfast at an amazing diner called Perry's Cafe, just across the road from the motel. We decided to follow the bus tour map ourselves starting in the park and gardens.

We explored a little going into the free art gallery and the botanical gardens and couldn't resist purchasing a few local art pieces from the Spanish Art Village and quenching our thirst with a homemade lemonade.

We then drove through little Italy and along the waterfront to Coronado.

We parked up and relaxed on the beach fascinated by the miliatry aircraft flying not very far above our heads.

We then took a slow drive passed the beautiful island houses and onto the other side for a breathtaking view of the San Diego skyline and Greek food at Spiros Gyros.

Driving back through the Gaslamp Disctrict and to Harbour Island we watched the dramatic sunset and listened to the clinking of the yacht masts.

Where is your favourite place to eat on Coronado?
