After a busy week in Cape Town we were due some down time so spent the weekend in Betty's Bay with friends.

Watch out for the baboons!

Betty's Bay (or Bettysbaai) is a beautiful town situated 96km out of Cape Town along the R44 coastal road. Have your cameras out and be ready to stop because the drive is unreal!

After settling in to our beach house for the long weekend we took a stroll to the sea collecting shells and watching the sunset. Can I also just bring attention to how cool Rob's 'Where's Wally?'  Havaianas are!

The next morning we walked to the main beach for a quick dip then drove just out of Betty's to explore the Kogelberg Nature Reserve. On our way back we saw a shop hiring sandboards so off we went to try it out. Conclusion - it was SO much fun!
